Christmas Art Market 2024 - Call for Applications
Saturday 30th November & Saturday 7th December
We are now taking applications for outdoor stalls at our Art Market on 7th December at Globe 2 - for £15 only - Deadline to apply is 31st October
The Globe Arts Christmas Art Market is back on Saturday 30th November at Globe 1, and Saturday 7th December at Globe 2!
Our studio will be open 11am - 5pm, the atmosphere will be amazing with live music, art demonstrations, mulled wine and sweet treats!
Any stall holder sales made during the event will be commission free - just pay for your stall.
(30% commission will be taken for any sales on products left with us after the event itself.)
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on quality and originality
Work must be handmade by the maker (prints of your original work are accepted)
Clear pricing displayed to minimise product handling
Makers should have active, professional social media profiles
Makers should actively participate in sharing content generated for the Christmas Art Market
Provide professional quality product images for social media and our web shop, with 3 emailed to info@globearts.org.uk as part of the application process
Deadline
The deadline for applications is 31st October 2024.
Applicants will receive confirmation and a booking link by 7th November.

Option A - Table with Wall Space

Max wall space available = 1.5M x 1.5M
Option to leave us with items for sale in the run up to Christmas - 30% commission on sales

Excellent for sculpture/ceramics/jewellery/textiles

Option C - Outdoor stall (7th December at Globe 2 only)

Fantastic for large artwork
Great way to advertised products designed for the outdoors (eg. knitwear, garden furniutre/decorations)
All options include
Globe Arts will take care of any sales after the event, and ensure the items are packaged carefully (for very large/delicate pieces, we ask that you leave us with specific packaging)
Makers will be profiled and shared on Globe Arts’ Facebook, Instagram & TikTok accounts in the run up to the event
Other marketing will include our 1200 strong newsletter, posters displayed across Colne and Holme valleys, and listings on Creative Kirklees and Council websites
Every client will be encouraged to invite friends & family to browse the Art Market and support local makers
Each stall holder must have their own means of taking payment. In the event that your card reader doesn’t work/ you are selling a high value item, a Globee can take a card payment, but we will charge 5% of the sale value to cover our costs.
We would prefer sellers to use cashless transactions where possible
