What can Globees offer in the Private Art Lessons?

  • Private Tuition is available for anyone aged 5+, on an individual 1:1 basis, or small groups (home educated children/ friends/ siblings or relatives etc.)

  • We operate mainly from the top floor of Globe 1, but we can teach from Globe 2 if its a better fit for the activity you want to do. Cant get up and about easily? We can come to your home for £60ph - just send us an email and we’ll try match a tutor to your needs.

  • These classes are personalised to the wants/needs of each child, a great opportunity to hone in on specific skills, or build confidence using creativity as a tool - to help them grow!

  • You can pick a specific subject- and we can match you up with one of our other freelance tutors (in areas like throwing pottery on the wheel or screen printing) Prices for this tuition type are for all ages, children and adults, and they start at £45ph.

  • You can try a one-off session - meet Zoe or Penny, our PT tutors, have a look around the studio, and try a short art activity. Then, if you are happy to continue, we will book you in for our 5/6 week block to build skills and a routine to fit your timetable.

  • We cover most types of arts and craft: drawing, painting, ceramics, glass, textiles, 3D sculpture, printmaking - we currently do not deliver any digital art (but we will soon be expanding to include this).

  • We also offer Arts Award here at Globe Arts, currently - only Zoe is trained to teach the Award, these sessions are priced higher, to include training, booklets, certificates costs.

  • Arts Award is “a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form - from fashion to digital art, pottery to poetry”.
