The Ella Dawson Festival!

Wow - what a day! On Saturday 12th August we were at the Ella Dawson Festival in Slaithwaite in the Creative Corner Tent!

In case you didn’t know, the festival was organised by The Ella Dawson Foundation - a charity set up in legacy of Ella Dawson who passed away from cancer at only 24 years old. The charity raise money to support young adults with cancer and their families, so we feel honoured to have helped an amazing cause.

If you weren’t there, or want to reminisce about the day like us, here’s everything that went on!

There were LOTS of Globees volunteering their time at the event to make sure that we could make our Creative Corner as spectacular as possible!

We had a variety of different activities to choose from - we hope that everyone enjoyed them!
We had table-top canvases, the big canvas, face painting, festival glitter, tote bags, the big weave and our art shop open!

We also had lots of Demonstrations from our amazing tutors throughout the day!

We had so much fun seeing what everybody creating at the festival - we would like to thank everyone who came and said hello and took part in our activities, it really made our day. We would also like to thank the Ella Dawson Foundation for inviting us to be a part of such a special day, for such a special cause.

After a very fun and creative day, we tidied up and danced to the fabulous music with everyone ❤️
