Working with (our soon to be) resident ceramicist, Ammie Flexen. Our Ceramics course is the perfect opportunity to unwind whilst working with clay. You will learn a variety of techniques, including pinch, coil and moulded forms, creating your own small pieces to decorate with slips and glazes.
Suitable for beginners and those who enjoy working with clay. All materials, equipment, firing and tuition is included. We limit our class sizes to ensure a relaxed, friendly environment with plenty of one to one support available.

Our exciting new course in dry stone walling is led by building and masonry expert Lance Gilbert. Learn all the skills need to build your own dry stone wall and more.

Over 3 weeks, we will specialise in a particular technique, working on a small project and giving you the opportunity to experiment across a range of crafts. All tuition, materials and equipment are provided.

Learn the basic techniques of fused glass making, or develop your skills further in our term time evening class - perfect to experiment and create your own small project pieces. You will learn a variety of fusing methods and materials including frits, confetti, stringer and inclusions.
Suitable for beginners and those will some fused glass experience, and includes all tuition, equipment, materials (significant glass stock included with the option to purchase additional glass if needed for large projects).

Our weekly class for pre-school age babies and children. The children explore different art activities, giving them a chance to really express themselves. Each week the class is themed and your child will get chance to create there own Mini Masterpiece to take home. Best of all we clear up instead of you!!
Getting creative (and a little bit messy) isn't just lots of fun... the creation of art and feeling good about it helps to boost self confidence and children who feel able to experiment and to make mistakes feel free to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the art studio.

We run 5/6 week blocks, developing technical art and craft skills, all children will be registered and can work towards Arts Award Explore which provides a broad structure to the art club. Family friendly sessions are an opportunity to make and create together. We run them most months and we try out a different medium each workshop - could be ceramics or felting or drawing or 3D...
