SCHOOL'S OUT! Art & Food - Bug hotels

Join the Globees this Summer for some art and craft sessions, plus delicious food from Bolster Moor Farm & Coffee Shop!

We are running different activities every Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks, from 1-5pm! These sessions are free for children who receive Free School Meals and are aged 8-12.
Children aged 5 and above are also welcome, but these places must be either paid, or supported by our Donate to Make a Difference scheme.

You can select your ticket type at checkout! It is £27.50 per child, or £50 for 2 siblings.

For information about the different activities on the other days, check out our SCHOOL’S OUT! page

On Thursday 3rd August we will be making up cycled plastic bottle bug hotels, using heat tools, drills and scalpels, to cut wood and natural objects which will go inside the bottles. Once these are taken home, they can hang in a tree, or sit in the garden, or in a plant pot. These bug hotels are perfect to place in your garden and give the little bugs a shelter!

We think that this is the perfect activity for the young artists who are also nature lovers!

We are kindly receiving the meals from Bolster Moor Farm Shop, and Kirklees are funding the spaces for children receiving free school meals
