Want to learn how to use Procreate?
WHO: Jane is an illustrator and printmaker and uses Procreate on her iPad as a tool to help develop her designs. She has illustrated several books and designed two colouring books. She loves showing her grandchildren how to paint using Procreate. Follow her @artyjaneh on Instagram.
‘Procreate for beginners’ is Jane’s first workshop for Globe Arts. Procreate is a powerful tool designed for artists and illustrators, on the iPad. It’s acknowledged as one of the best digital painting tools available. Just bring your iPad to the workshop, and download Procreate onto your IPad before you arrive.
It’s a fun introduction to the powerful tools in Procreate. You’ll learn about the myriad of brushes and exciting effects you can use, how to select colours, and save what you’ve done. Jane will show you how to draw and paint on the iPad using reference photos saved on your iPad as well as drawing from observation using your finger or an Apple Pencil. At the end of the workshop you’ll feel confident to draw and paint using Procreate and eager to explore more Procreate tools and techniques in future.
