We are delighted to introduce Richard Kitson for this course: painting for beginners!

This six week course is an opportunity to explore painting through a range of activities and media. If you have always fancied a go at watercolour or acrylic painting but don't know where to start then this is the course for you.

Sessions will use landscape and still life subject matter to open up the door for further exploration from simple exercises to finished paintings. Some sessions will be dedicated to exploring a particular artist as a way of understanding the application of paint, balance and composition.

There will be focus on colour mixing and how to plan a painting through a mixture of demonstrations and individual feedback.
